Group Therapy

DBT Skills Group

Online group therapy can be a powerful way to build connections and foster emotional healing. DBT groups are part of comprehensive DBT treatment, but they can also be helpful for people as a stand-alone intervention. Adults (18+) can learn about the DBT skills modules of mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and walking the middle path. Group therapy members also get practical experience applying the skills both in group and in between-session practice. Members develop coping skills to better understand and manage emotions. You will go through all of the DBT skills meetings once a week over a period of roughly four months.

OCD Group

Individuals who have OCD can benefit from this therapist-led group therapy and the opportunity to practice doing exposures and discussing their reactions with peers. This support group aims to provide a safe and comfortable space where members can share their unique experiences with OCD, learn from, and validate each other. The goal is to get a better understanding of OCD and the factors maintaining it, as well as practice exposures in a guided and supportive environment. This group therapy setting can be a supplement to existing treatment or an initial introduction to learning how to fight back against your OCD.

Participating in group therapy sessions with licensed therapists offers a unique opportunity for personal growth and emotional resilience. This structured environment also allows for peer support, increased accountability, and a shared path toward improved mental health.
